Multiplying Three Digit Numbers One More And Other Less Than Base

Multiplying Three Digit Numbers One Less Than and Other More Than The Working Base Using Nikhilum Sutra: In this method we take a common base such that one number is less than base and other number is more than the base. Such type of Techniques of Vedic Maths help us to perform calculations in a much faster way. Mastering such type of techniques is very essential in Competitive Exams where time is very precious

For example let us take 106 and 114

Step 1:We will take the base as 110, then one number is less than 110 and other number is more than 110.

let the base be 110

106       -4

114       +4

Step 2: Now, multiply -4 with +4, we get -16.

Step 3: Now, add diagonally 106 with +4 or 114 with -4, We will get 110.

Step 4: Multiplying 110with the base 110 and add -16 .

Thus, answer is 12100 -16 = 12084
